Syncropendence Off-Road Meet — Welsh borders 3 - 5 July 2009

Costs: £40 per vehicle if you wish to participate in off-road driving and £25 per non-participating vehicle. This charge covers on-site wild camping for the weekend. The ticket price also includes Membership of Club 80-90 Syncronauts (if you have not already paid your subs), affiliated to the MSA (The Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association Limited - www.msauk.org). If you wish to drive the Dodokas project vehicle (subject to the owners' consent of course) there will be an additional charge payable at the event. We will ensure that all spectators are ferried from the campsite to the driving areas and back again.

All participants must be Club 80-90 Syncronaut members and driving VW T25 Syncros, or otherwise have vehicles approved by the Club committee beforehand. One or two non-syncros may be on the site, for marshalling, demonstration and comparison purposes.
Pack including detailed site map, entrance tickets and itinerary will be sent out during June.

The Off-Road Meet

Where? Welsh borders, nr. Oswestry. A large off-road site, presenting plenty of challenges for all driving abilities.
When? The weekend of 3 - 5 July, 2009
Who? Club 80-90 Syncronauts members, marshals and special guests
How much? £40 per participating vehicle
  £25 non-participating vehicle
Camping? Yes, wild camping on site.
For less wild camping Henstent Caravan and Touring Park is not too far away.
Events? A schedule of activities has been drawn-up and includes guided drive-arounds, marshalled tasks, fun competitions and marked trial courses etc.
Arrive? p.m. Friday, 3 July, early Saturday morning 4 July (1st driving event, marshalled at 10.00 a.m. sharp)
Depart? Circa 5.00 p.m. Sunday, 5 July (camping available Sunday night by special arrangement) and possibly green laning on Monday 6 July
Safety?

A few basic provisos and a code of conduct ensuring safety for all will be posted ~ all common sense (but RTM)

Children?

Yes, normal provisos and common sense of course (they will love the place!)

Dogs? Yes, on leads (this is a livestock area)
Barbecue? Yes, provisionally Saturday, early evening ( bring your own food, we will provide the barbecue)
