Syncronauts Spring Off-Road Meet — Buckinghamshire 26th / 27th April 2008

Costs: £25 per vehicle.

The full ticket price includes Membership of Club 80-90 Syncronauts, affiliated to the MSA (The Royal Automobile Club Motor Sports Association Limited - www.msauk.org) and free camping on the site. If you have already paid your membership fee this year you may claim a £10 discount on this event.

All participants must be Syncronauts members and driving VW T25 Syncros, or otherwise have vehicles approved by the Club committee beforehand. One or two non-syncros may be on the site, for marshals, demonstration and comparison purposes.

Camping Friday/Sat night with barbecue Sat Night. Arrive Friday afternoon, early Sat morning as per normal. Extended camping might be possible Sunday night (an additional £5). Ladies privvy with portapotti on-site (don't say wow! till you see it ! )

Large farm-site, non-damaging, hilly and challenging (gripless) in most places, probably some water too! If have both diff-locks then best they're working; if you have or can get a tow-strop (longer the better) and good shackles, then bring them...

Don't forget your bangers, burgers or fish/veggie equivalents, we provide the barbecue.

Not simply pay and play, this is a Syncronauts event with planned driving times and activities

The Off-Road Meet

Where? The site is in the Buckinghamshire countryside, a private 100+ acre hilly farm site not far from Milton Keynes.
When? The weekend of 26th/27th April, 2008
Who? Club 80-90 Syncronauts members
How much? £25 per vehicle plus £5 per additional driver (to cover MSA fees)
Camping? Yes, wild camping on site.
Hotel / Pub ? Home Farm
The Lowndes Arms
Events? To be announced
Arrive? Afternoon /evening of Friday, 25th April, early Saturday morning 26th April
Depart? Circa 3.00pm Sunday, 27th April
Safety? A few basic provisos and a code of conduct ensuring safety for all will be posted ~ all common sense (but RTFM)
Children? Yes, normal provisos and common sense of course (they will love the place!)
Dogs? Yes, on leads (this is a livestock area)
Barbecue? Yes, provisionally Saturday, early evening, (DIY ~ bring your own food)

NB. Supplementary Regulations for the Organisation of Events

  1. The club reserves the right to refuse an application for attendance at an event if it is felt that Health & Safety or General Harmony of the event would be compromised by that person(s) attending;
  2. the club reserves the right to limit the number of attendees at an event;
  3. the club reserves the right to refuse entrance at the gate to anyone who has not pre-booked and been issued with an event ticket.
